Over the past few weeks I have been busy painting walls, floors and moving my tools to my new studio. I am leaving behind a big window and rooftop views, but I am moving to a space with a lot more room. I am looking forward to more space for design, drawing and filling the wall with work in progress.
I will be based in Coburg House, a thriving artists studio complex with open studio events twice a year and a gallery shop.
Because of the current COVID-19 situation, I have made the decision to mainly work from home for the time being. This means no metalwork at the moment, but plenty of drawing and design. I will see how things progress and hope to be back in the workshop when things start to settle down. The creative community has a lot of resilience, but the months ahead will be tough for everyone. Keep supporting small businesses.
For now, here is a peek at the very tidy new studio space. Soon to fill up I am sure!
